DOOM DOOM DOMM

Still going my way. Yep. The last three days were great. Let's see

Fisrt, I got to hang that permit. Oh yeah. Munee comes over and go eat KFC and rent Doom and Hero. They both suck. Duh. I learned that the hard way. Doom did have a cool part, that's the first preson shooting scene.

Karl Urban wakes up after getting injected by the 24th chromosome, and, after looking in the mirror, realises that he has gained super human strength. Game on! He whips out his machine gun and sprays zombies with a rain of bullets. Karl walks down this stairwell and aims upwards. BAM BAM BAM. Three headshots! all of them die--I could almost hear those words yell out of every shooting game. Triple kill. Karl empties a few more zombies and jumps over this monster with a chainsaw and shoot it off. It throws him against the floor, but not to worry. He kills it with a land mine. Blood splatters as he walks into an empty room. "Sara," he calls out. "Sara."
Roar, comes a call from far behind. Out of the darkness appears an obnoxious creature that's shaped like a bulldog on hind wheels.

Karl runs and grabs the chain saw. Blood runs the ground as he slashes the monster's face, but it doesn't budge. Karl becomes smart and cuts off the hind leg-wheels. vroom. The beast struggles to move but trips on its side and Karl siezes the moment. Double headshot. The beast was gone.

Anyway let's forget about that movie. I actually thought over the hedge looked better than it.

We went peach picking the next day. Some guy said he was gonna put us in the newspaper. He lied! But that doesn't worry me much. Munne's little bro showed me snake skin, so I brought it home. It was really cool.

Julian came and played Halo. I annihilated him, which I don't say with pride. Okay, maybe a little pride. He said he could beat me and I was like, we're the best of our school. I'll beat you. and I did. most games were 25-1, 25-2. I felt good. Anyway, he already left outta town, so I won't see him for a long time.

Now I'm reading this book by Ray Bradbury. It's really cool, I had to return it half a year ago and now I borrowed it again.

give a guess

Everyone, this is khalid rosli with a special announcement.

Salamualaikum. I'm pleased to anounce that I just earned my drving permit! Yeah. How about that? That's what 15 hours of waiting gets you. I finally feel like I got somthing done this summer. Alahmdullillah. It's a botu time, with my brother getting to go to summer classes, passing permit test, and the assessment tes, I kinda felt left out. He's been lucky since the summer started.
I've been bummed out for a long time. Almost nothing has been going my way. This is a pleasant suprise. I keep this smile of triumph on my face until it lasts. Oh God, boy do I believe in miracles.

*I'm super happy now. a few days will pass and I'll be bored again. ~~sigh~~ :(

FF Spirits within

It's so hot this summer...... All I do all day is watch movies on Pc or play Xbox. I read Quran too-I have a lot of catching up to do.

Hey did you guys know that there's a Final Fantasy movie before FINAL FANTASY 7? Oh yeah.. you better believe it. It's Final Fantasy Spirits Within and I just finished watching it. Great graphics and action, but it's kinda cheezy.

Nowhere does it surpass the next FF movie. It's highlights are the fight in the city, when the phantoms invade, and the explosion of the space station. The rest is just talk and fillers. Dr. Aki Ross is the main character, who saves the world by implanting spirits to flood Gaya, the spirit world of Earth; which is later called LIFESTREAM in FF7. Hein is the villian and he blows himself up in his ship at the end. (that's spoilers for u) Go watch the movie if u haven't seen it!

The movie recieved low ratings however, even after the overuse of special effects.

"the box office was 32 million in North America. It took 137 million to make" -Wikipedia.

The movie was, well, a failure. You can say that. Even Final Fantasy fans were ticked, it had nothing to do with FF, cept Cid's name reappears and GAYA becomes LIFESTREAM.
* I'm redundant sometimes ^_^* The one thing I liked was the new enemies they made: PHANTOMS. I wish they brought them back into FF, even though their new enemies are much cooler.......

Picture

3rd week

IT's THE THIRD WEEK ALREAdY. Yes, it's a shock for me too. I'm kind of scared, the summer has been good and all but I don't intend on making it go by just like my previous ones. I failed the permit test AGAIN. waaaaa. Make doa for me. If I fail again, my dad will get realy angry. Is it even worth it, anyway? 10 hours in line so far. This place has the worst waiting lines. imagine waiting and not accomplishing anything. Munee got booted from the other testing area from racial discrimination. Pretty stupid.

Well, in other news, I read BBC and found this interesting article on India.
It reads:
"It's goodbye to Baa Baa Black Sheep and Humpty Dumpty for children in primary schools in a central Indian state."

Basically,
India has problems with American literature and now reading any books will be unpatriotic to India. This includes nursery rymes and stories like, "humpty Dumpty". The question is, why doesn't India just read its own literature in the first place? If it didn't want any problems, why take in American books. I'm on the Indian side. Their ban is justified. America wouldn't want to read any of India's books anyway, would it. Nah. What's your opinion? The article is here.

Here are some other articles that say nursery rymes are propoganda to make kids desensitized to violence. Funny.

Still summer

It's still the summer.. but I already feel like time is running out any sec now. One sec later, summer will end. I hate that feeling.

Lately, things haven't been going that well. I mean, I FAILED my permit. Test. The thing is, I took it again and, well, I FAILED it again. I was so depressed. We aited about 3 hours this time. I was so confident and I studied so much. Inshallah I'll pass it next time. Make doa for me.

Some things have been going well. I read THE DAY AFTER TOMMOROW. Good book. We were at a party and I was supposed to watch it, but instead, I played XB. Now I totally regret that. Looking over the way the wrld goes, The day after Tomorrow seems a complete possibility. It's pretty daunting, nauthubillah for it.

I play minesweeper, It's like super addicitive. Moone got like 15 secs on beginner time. I got 18 almost there.

Behind this *print screened pic is me blogging. Prettty kewl.

BLEACH ANIME

BLEACH ANIME

the name says it all. It could be one of the coolest shows on Earth, or maybe even the coolest show. Abdu showed me it when we were surfing the web. It has this great teenage impact, especially for "lost" individuals who want to find their identity. Great action, graphics, and drama. Great Anime.

Coincidence

Listen to this. Alright, we woke up 6 o' clock in the morning to go take my7 permit. We're the first nes there. there is this guy who starts talking to us about his experience in New Orleans--He had some amazing stories. One girl came out of her attic onto her roof, jumped on her floating car, and was taken to safety by boat.
Two hours pass and we are the first out of 30 people in line. I get called on and take the test. I finished the test like 10 minutes early and take my eye exam. I FAILED. and by 7 points too, you only need 6 to pass. We waited 4 hours, took two hours days before, I finally take the test and I FAILED. WHY IN THE WORLD? My dad made a pretttty big deal about it. He's really, u know, the PERFECT man. Didn't even miss one point in his test. I missed 7. Yay..... Seems like everybody expects me to be PERFECT. Well, I'm not. But it sucks that I failed.

"I failed."

Well I did. I guess I just have to lose like a winner and take it. If it was one of those screw ups; it would be this.
